AI for farmers: let AI do the paperwork while you work the land

AI for farmers: AI per Aziende, an Italian studio, builds custom tools for farms, orchards, vineyards and growers who sell direct. Dictate a spray application on Telegram and get a note ready for your official record; customer orders from WhatsApp land in one list. You check and confirm. It starts with a free 30-minute call.

  • Free discovery call
  • A working demo before you sign
  • You approve every step

Where the day goes

  • Spray records get written up at night

You sprayed three blocks between six and ten, then had to irrigate and fix a pump. In the evening, tired, you rebuild rates, products and areas from receipts and memory. And from 2027 in Italy paper alone won't be enough.

  • Direct sales orders arrive in bits

One customer wants Saturday's veg box on WhatsApp, another phones, a third tells you at the market. On Friday night you piece the messages together to work out how much to pick, and somebody still misses out.

  • What you have to sell changes weekly

Hail, weather, a variety ripening early: your availability never stands still. Telling customers one by one is impossible, and a single generic message often goes unread.

What the AI actually does

Applications dictated in the field, notes in order

Send a voice note on Telegram with the block, crop, product, rate and time. The AI turns it into a clean entry with date and area, checks nothing is missing and asks for anything you forgot. Your official record stays wherever you or your adviser keep it: the notes are ready to transfer.

Example
At 7:40 am, after spraying the lower peach block, you dictate: 'Lower peaches, two hectares, copper, label rate'. The AI replies that the product's trade name is missing; you add it by voice and the entry is complete before you reach the vines.

Farm-shop and box orders in one list

An assistant answers customers on WhatsApp: it says what's available this week, takes quantities, names and collection day, and at a set time sends you the full list. You confirm availability.

Example
Twelve orders arrive on Thursday evening for Saturday collection. At 6 am on Friday the summary is waiting: 14 mixed boxes, 9 kg of sauce tomatoes, 4 jars of honey. You pick what's needed and no more.

This week's message, written for you

Say what's ready and the AI drafts the availability message, worded differently for regulars and occasional buyers, sent only to people who asked to receive it. You read it and send it.

Example
On Monday hail ruined the apricots, but the first plums are ready. Two dictated lines later the message is drafted: no apricots this week, here are the plums and the price per box.

Farm deadlines in one place

The deadlines you note down, such as customer deliveries, payments, machinery checks or renewals, go into one list that reminds you in good time on WhatsApp or Telegram, instead of on the calendar pinned up in the shed.

Example
At the end of the month you get a message: the renewal you dictated back in March is due in ten days. Plenty of time to call whoever you need.

Custom tools for your kind of farm

A winery, an orchard with seasonal pickers and a farm with holiday lets have different problems. We build the missing piece around how you already work, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Example
A farm with six seasonal pickers wants to know each evening how many crates every team filled: we build the phone form and the daily summary.

How we get started

Three steps, and the first one is a no-strings conversation.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

Thirty minutes online, evenings included. Tell us what you grow, how you sell and which paperwork takes most of your time. If AI won't help, we'll say so plainly.

  2. 2

A prototype built on your fields and products

We build a first version with your block names, crops, the products you use and your direct-sales price list. You test it with a real voice note, as if you were on the tractor.

  3. 3

    Into use for the season

You use it on working days and we adjust it together when a note or an order doesn't add up. New season, new blocks and products: we update it, and you remain the one who confirms.

Why AI per Aziende

You always have the final say

The AI tidies notes, orders and messages, but what goes into your records and what reaches customers is checked and confirmed by you.

Built for muddy boots, not just desks

Bots for Telegram and WhatsApp and management tools are things we build to order, and we keep three industry-specific platforms of our own online. A phone form filled in between rows, or the order list for Saturday's market, is that kind of job.

Your fields and customers stay yours

Walk away one day and you keep the tool's code and instructions. Block names, the products you apply and your farm-shop customer list feed only your tool and never end up training other models.

Frequently asked questions

How can AI help a farmer day to day?

By taking paperwork and phone time out of your days in the field. You dictate applications and field work by voice and get tidy notes back, collect direct-sales orders from WhatsApp in one list and draft messages for customers. It doesn't replace your knowledge of crops and weather: it frees time to use it.

Do spray records have to be electronic now?

In the EU, yes. Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/564, which applies from 1 January 2026, requires plant protection product records to be kept in an electronic, machine-readable format, with some national flexibility on conversion deadlines. Outside the EU the rules differ, so check with your adviser or farming association what applies to your farm.

Will the AI fill in my official records for me?

No, it helps you not to forget anything. You dictate the application and the AI prepares a complete, tidy entry, flagging missing details. The official record stays in the system you or your adviser use, where you transfer the notes, including as a file. Responsibility for what's written there stays with you, as it should.

Does it work where mobile signal is poor?

In most cases, yes. A voice note on Telegram sends as soon as your phone picks up signal again, even later when you're back in the yard. You don't need to stay connected while you work. If some fields have no coverage at all, we look at it together on the call and pick the most practical option.

Can I use it for direct sales on WhatsApp?

Yes. The assistant tells customers what's available this week, takes quantities, names and collection days, and sends you the complete list. On WhatsApp the connection sometimes has to be re-linked by hand after updates, and we tell you that upfront. You confirm availability, because only you know what's really in the field.

How much does AI cost for a farm?

We price it once we've seen the job, because a farm that only sells direct and one with ten blocks to record need quite different work. On the free 30-minute call you tell us about your crops, acreage and how you sell; then we send a written price before anything starts, and you're free to say no.

How soon can I start using it?

Your growing calendar matters more than ours: after the call, a prototype with your blocks and products is usually ready within a few working days. You try it on a few real applications. Set it up in winter or before bud break, and by the busy spraying weeks you'll be using it without thinking.
